Tourist Visa
As you know, I have already discussed the UAE Tourist Entry Visa and what it is. But first, I must explain the Dubai Tourist Visa price, visa requirements, and application form.
No matter where you are traveling from or what type of passport holder you are, you are required to pay a Tourist Visa fee. However, remember that this does not apply to UAE Visa On Arrival countries.
The Dubai Tourist Visa fee depends on how long you intend to stay in Dubai. Here is a Dubai Visa price list:
– Dubai Tourist Visa (single-entry): 90 USD
– Dubai Tourist Visa (multiple-entry): 175 USD
Luckily, the UAE offers eVisas. This means you do not have to go to a UAE Embassy or Consulate to submit your Tourist Visa application. There are a few ways you can apply for your Dubai Tourist Visa, namely:
– Your airline
– Your hotel
– A DMC (destination management company)
– A local travel agency
Visit Visa/Business Visa
The Visit Visa, also known as the Business Visa, is a short-term visa that allows you to enter the UAE for only a short period. The Visit Visa is only valid for 48 hours (2-day Visa), and the Dubai Visit Visa charges are 10 USD.
Travelers normally use the Business Visa for short trips to the UAE. However, it only consists of a single entry, meaning you must be out of the UAE before it expires.
Transit Visa For 96-Hours
The 96-Hour Visa is a type of UAE Visa that is only valid for 96 hours. Although it is not considered a tourist visa, travelers apply for a 96-hour visa when they transit through the UAE.
This type of Visa is normally used when travelers transiting through Dubai want to spend a few hours in the UAE before leaving for their destination.
The 96-Hour Visa costs only 30 USD, and you can get it processed within 3 days.
Multi Entry Long Term Visa
As I mentioned earlier, the Tourist Visa also has a Multiple Entry long-term Visa. When I say long-term, I mean you can stay in the UAE for 90 days before your Tourist Visa expires. Here are the different long-term costs of Tourist Visas for Dubai:
– Long-Term Tourist Visa (single entry): 190 USD
– Long-Term Tourist Visa (multiple-entry): 460 USD
The long-term Dubai Tourist Visa is also an online Visa application and will be processed within 3 days.
What Is a Visa on Arrival (VOA)?
You can receive an on-arrival visa from United Arab Emirates (UAE) Immigration once you arrive in Dubai, and it does not require planning. This is a transitory visa for Americans traveling to Dubai. After you get off the plane, officials at the immigration desk stamp your passport with a Dubai Visa on Arrival.
Only foreign nationals from a select few nations are eligible for the Visa. The processing of a Dubai Visa on Arrival is completed while you wait, so there is no waiting period.
Please remember that Visa on Arrival does not mean Visa-free travel.
Is There a Visa on Arrival in Dubai?
Yes, there is Visa on Arrival in Dubai. However, it is important to note that not all citizens around the globe enjoy the Dubai Visa on Arrival benefit. Here is a list of countries that enjoy the Dubai Visa on Arrival:
Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Honduras, Hong Kong (SAR of China), Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Islands, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Montenegro, Nauru, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, People’s Republic of China, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Republic of El Salvador, Republic of Mauritius, Russian, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, San Marino, Seychelles, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Vatican, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States of America, Uruguay
The nationals of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, and Saudi Arabia, and the nations/regions mentioned above, are qualified for a visa on arrival at Abu Dhabi International Airport (only when flying with Etihad or Qatar airline). However, before visiting the UAE, visitors from the nations not mentioned above must apply for a visa.
What’s The Difference Between a Dubai Tourist Visa and A Dubai Visa on Arrival?
First, the Dubai Tourist Visa is a travel document that you must apply for before traveling to Dubai. The Dubai Tourist Visa allows you entry to the UAE for 30-90 days. However, certain citizens enjoy Dubai Visa on Arrival (VOA).
Now, the Dubai Visa on Arrival is only for citizens that enjoy visa-free travel. This means these citizens are not required to apply for a prearranged Dubai Tourist Visa. Instead, when arriving on a Dubai Visa on Arrival, you can simply head to the VOA gate, and a Border Patrol Official will issue your Visa on Arrival.
What Are the Dubai Arrival Visa Required Documents?
Although some citizens do not require an entry visa for Singapore, you still need to meet the Dubai Visa on Arrival entry requirements. Here is a list of documents you have before you are issued a Dubai Visa on Arrival:
– Your valid passport and ID Card (your passport must have a 6-month validity)
– Proof of your return flight ticket
– Proof of accommodation
